Plenty of tourist attractions are being waited for you in Kos Island: starting from lazy holiday at the beach and finishing by active sports. Although, the main reason to visit island is an amazing nature. The island is surrounded by lush greenery and luxury gardens; therefore, it is called A Garden of Aegean Sea.

You can find here the coasts with petty pebbles, the natural spa, the coasts with white, black and gold sand, and close to Psalidi in Agios Fokas there are thermal high-sulphur springs Therma.
Southern coast is more popular for families with children. There is a calm sea and usually no wind. But Northen coast is subjected to strong waves. There you always will find water sport stations with equipment for diving, windsurfing, kitesurfing and others.
If you would like to visit the wild beaches, it’s better to rent a car and explore by yourself different beaches, as Kos' coastline is 112 kilometres long!

If you prefer a nightlife be sure, in Kos you will not be bored. Party life is centred both in Kos town downtown and resorts of Lambi and Kardamena. It’s not difficult not at all to find a good bar or a club with theme party, just start from Bar Street.
Kos island unites windsurfers and kite surfers from all Europe. Meltemi’s North wind blows all summer therefore from June till the end of September everybody is welcome for training on boards. There are surf stations in Psalidi, Mastichari, Kefalos and Kardamena where you can rent equipment and train with instructor.
Also, for active holiday you can rent a bicycle, as there are more than 11 km of bikeways around Kos town for it.
Particularly note Hippocratia Festival, which presents a lot of exhibitions, concerts and performances during all the summer period. The culture life on Kos Island is very active on summer.
Open cinema is the also very popular Kos tourist attraction, where original movies are shown with Greek subtitles.
